Application Commands: Learning by Doing

The fastest way to understand the features implemented in the Demo Meter application is to open the terminal interface and to test the available commands. It is also possible to use the GUI, but the command interface provides a deeper understanding. It is advisable to have a meter test bench or any other device capable of generating different input conditions.

Some of the features, like the time of use, energy or maximum demand are explained with more details in the following sections to be able to experiment with the commands without having to analyze the source code.
