1.2.6 USI Service

The Smart Energy USI (Unified Serial Interface) Service is a multi-instance buffer model based driver interface which can be used in conjuction with another Smart Energy services/drivers to communicate with external devices through serial interfaces.

Key Features:

• Multi-instance: Provides interface to manage multiple instances of serial interfaces.

• Multi-protocol: Each instance of USI service can manage different protocols through the same serial interface.

• Supports UART serial interfaces.

• Supports USB (CDC Device) serial interfaces.

• Several tools can be used on the other side of serial interfaces:
