This repository contains the MPLAB® Harmony 3 Class B Library which implements several test and diagnostic methods that support the IEC 60730 standard for the safe operation of an electronically controlled equipment for household use. Annex H of the IEC 60730 standard defines ‘Class B’ software. The Class B Library available in MPLAB® Harmony 3 implements several test and diagnostic methods that fall into the Class B category. It uses various measures to detect and respond to failures inside the microcontroller which can result in an unsafe state of the appliance.
